How I look after your information

In short: I only collect what you write to me yourself, the site uses no cookies, and your information is not shared with anyone except the few suppliers needed to run the business.

Who is the data controller

What information I process

When you write via the contact form or the price calculator, or send me an email, I receive the information you choose to give me:

  • Name and email address
  • Company and phone number, if you provide them
  • Your message, your preferred deadline and what type of job it is about

If we start working together, I also process the information needed to deliver and invoice the job, such as contact persons, address and payment details.

Why, and on what legal basis

I use the information to reply to your enquiry, provide quotes, and carry out and invoice the work. The legal basis is that it is necessary to enter into and fulfil an agreement with you (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), my legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)) and the requirements of the Danish Bookkeeping Act (Article 6(1)(c)).

I do not use your information for marketing, and I do not sell it or share it with anyone other than the suppliers listed below.

Cookies and statistics

The site does not use cookies. For visitor statistics I use Umami, which counts visits anonymously without cookies and without storing your IP address, so you cannot be identified. The statistics show, for example, which pages are read and which country a visit comes from.

The logo intro animation remembers in your browser’s temporary storage (sessionStorage) that it has played, so it doesn’t play again during the same visit. This information never leaves your computer and is deleted when you close the browser.

Who else processes the information

I use a few suppliers who process information on my behalf and only on my instructions:

  • Amazon Web Services – hosting the site and sending messages from the contact form (servers in the EU)
  • Simply.com – email and domain
  • Billy – accounting and invoicing
  • Umami – anonymous visitor statistics
  • WeTransfer – sharing files and video material in connection with jobs

How long I keep the information

Enquiries that don’t lead to a collaboration are deleted no later than two years after the last contact. Information about clients and jobs is kept for as long as the collaboration is active, and accounting records are kept for five years after the end of the financial year, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Video material from jobs is kept on my own drives and in backup for as long as it is relevant to the client.

Your rights

You have the right to access the information I hold about you and to have incorrect information corrected. You can also ask me to delete information, restrict processing, object to it or receive your information in a portable format. Write to me and I will reply as soon as possible, and within one month at the latest.

If you are unhappy with how I handle your information, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at datatilsynet.dk.
